Wasn’t really feeling the workout today but we went anyway. Discipline as hubby said. Neither of us like our normal Friday routine (squats, leg press etc) so we changed it up and used the cable and other machines. Plus he hurt his knee awhile back and it’s still bothering him. He has a daddy daughter BB game Sunday so didn’t want to have it sore for that. We made it a short 33 minute workout because all the machines we hadn’t used were full and we didn’t want to keep waiting.

I did notice that I was doing one weight (15#) less than a man we’ve seen there a lot which made me feel good. Worked up to 70# on the peck deck. Managed 3x8 assisted pull-ups with 39.5# taken off (almost 1/3 of my weight and I normally get 3x4) then two unassisted.

Did hips which we haven’t done in awhile. I could get 150 (all the weight) up 1x10 on my last set of the push in hip one. Got 1x1 on the push out one lol. Did 3x10 at 75# for lats. Usually start on 60. Everything else was the same as usual.

Now my shoulders hurt so I’m going to enjoy vegging out in my chair later!
