I’ve been told it’s all about commitment and dedication. Well today I ended up with a horrible migraine and it’s gym day. I got an 8 minute nap which helped some then it came back full force. After some time and Advil it was down to just a bad headache and the nausea was gone.

Of course we had to go to the gym. Hubby gave me the option to stay home but I insisted on going. I’d love to say it was an awesome workout but it was just ok. It was packed so we had to change up our routine. I did the same weights as usual which surprised me. Had a few back cramps though after 3 unassisted pull-ups. Couldn’t complete the 4th. (At the beginning of the workout, not warmed up or tired yet).

The only notable thing I did was 85# on decline bench. Hubby had to get it off the rack for me the first time. It got easier the more sets I did??

Cable crunches had the head pounding worse and a bit of nausea so I rushed through those and practiced deep breathing lol.

Came home for tacos! My fav! Then was laughing at the oldest and got an ab cramp then back cramp. Both suck but together is even worse. She got the last laugh lol. Now I’m draining bottles of water to hopefully keep from cramping again!

Ty shir! I tried to sleep but it didn’t work. It was 8 minutes from the time I closed my eyes until I woke up :/. The exercises where I had to bend down made the head pound worse but the ones where I could pretty much stay upright were fine.

Chris, I was stubborn lol. Things like cable crunches really bothered me so I limited the bending over. I hate taking days off! I like to eat around 1600-1800 and I can only do that on gym days lol. Woke up with the headache again but it’s just a normal headache today. Hope you get to feeling better!

You are the woman! I can't function at all when I get migraines. And you went to the gym. I'm glad the head is better today.

It was down to just a bad headache when we went. ;) No way could I have gone if it was still a full blown migraine.

I used to do this. Then I had some incident that taught me to listen to my body and never go agaist it. If I am sick, have some pain, feel soo down, I just give my body some rest and trust me, it thanks me back for that with higher performence next time I go to the gym. I feel better and more peaceful.

Good job warrior.... This is what is takes. Dedication to your cause. Pushing past the pain makes you a warrior or the cause.. Keep grinding and never ever give up.

Ty 60pack. I’ve been down with allergies/cold for over two weeks now. I take medicine when I need to go somewhere so I can breathe. Lots of hand sanitizer being used just in case. I think it’s the weather going from cold to warm and back again.

Thanks designwebs! Hanaa if I miss a day at the gym I tend to do worse the next time. I can push back the headaches as long as I can get it down from a migraine. With tummy issues I always stay home because I can’t handle nausea very well lol.

Dang! Woman! I take magnesium for muscle cramps...helps. But wowzer...going to the gym just after a migraine. You're a beast!

LZ, does the magnesium help? I have some powder my massage lady wants me to use. But I read it causes the bowels to relax as well. Been waiting to try it on a night/day I’ll be at home just in case lol.

Yes, it does loosen the bowels, but not to the point of anything bad... I take mine at night so I don't get leg cramps. I has really helped.
