all i do right now is home workouts. I used to use a gym but this time around it's just not practical for me. yet. I'm in a weird season right now. but I like the app off the Google play store home workouts with no equipment. I've burned a bunch of body fat. there like 20 minutes or so but they move so fast it wears you out. I was doing 60+ pushups at a time and sets of 15 in the app was rough. then when it got easy I added a 10 pound resistance band. just a thought.

I can't even bring myself to do a home workout. Maybe today- maybe I'll start tomorrow. Day 3 of no gym.

But you broke down tissue that takes calories to rebuild, and the muscle will burn calories in the future. Great job!

I'm with you on not enjoying it. I'm going to start the walking/running outside. The sun is supposed to shine so some vitamin d also.
Great on keeping it going

DP, can you go workout at Diablo’s place of employment? Didn’t know if that was off limits or not. If you have weights at home perhaps a contest? Who can do the most curls or get to 100 or something? That usually motivates me. Hubby doesn’t like to workout two days in a row and we skipped a day so I think I’ll workout with my oldest today. IF I’m not sore by evening that is.

Thanks guys! I’m not into cardio at all. Hate pushups, sit ups etc too. Technically I’m supposed to lay off the gym this week but the tattoo artist said as long as I didn’t sweat over the tattoos then I could do some slow and easy ones. Thankfully my back, head and neck are the only things that sweat when lifting weights lol.

I can't go with him so he is going and posting pics that I refuse to like... because I am a baby. I have started run/walking. I will get back to lifting tonight at home. Planning to look up some different stuff- though I am sure I know what to do - it will give e something to do. Today is starting at 65 degrees but dropping to 40 by 6 p.m. so I already got out for an hour- actually 40 minutes because the wind started changing so fast.

I wish I had some home gym stuff ...

It’s chilly here today. Started out with a 22 degree wind chill! We just picked up guttering and wood to make shelves for my daughter. Happy to have some projects.

HCB you can use other things. Do you have gallon water jugs? You can lift those. You can deadlift one end of your couch (as per Chris). If you have heavier potted plant you can hold them in front of you and do squats.

I always work out at home. So glad. I’d be the one freaking if suddenly I HAD to use a gym. But I would. Do what we have to do. Otherwise, weight gain and flabby body...NO THANKS! I’ve worked too hard to get where I am to let it slide because the world is turned upside down. I’m going to try the couch deadlifts. No pots. Any other home ideas?? Love working out at home. 💪🏻💪🏻
