Went to the gym in the first time in 7-8 weeks. It’s been 5.5 weeks since surgery. Had a little pulling but it was both sides so I wasn’t worried. Right shoulder gave me fits again but nothing new there.

Dropped the weights some. Started with just the bar and worked up to 15# each side for flat bench. Did about normal for military press. Did the normal amount for hips and rows as well but didn’t do the last set higher like usual.

The benches are where I felt the most stretching and pulling so I’ll keep those weights a little lower than normal this week and maybe next. As others have said, I looked ‘flat’. I’ve been checking the biceps and they looked a bit smaller. Now they look huge to me lol. Even an hour after the gym.

Back is wanting to cramp. Not that unusual. Only got dizzy once but we didn’t rush like usual. Added in 10 minutes and one extra exercise. That comes out to maybe an extra 20-30 seconds rest between sets.

I need to take a seat cushion or something though because hubby still had to lift the bar for me on the incline bench. My arms didn’t grow lol. I’m too short to lift the bar above the rack things. 🤦‍♀️
