Great post! My fav foods that are quick, low cal and filling include:
Breakfast: Two eggs, 1 piece of dried toast and black coffee. 210 cal. PS: I know you don't like coffee, so choc. milk maybe or fruit juice.
Lunch: Instant Pot veggie soup. Your choice of veggies. Microwave leftovers and your good to go in 3 min (...for about a week).
Dinner: Sliced chicken breast (grilled or dry poached) in a romaine lettuce wrap with your fav mustard. Fast and tasty.
I hope others add to this thread. Always looking for good ideas.

Eggs fill me up with no hunger for most of the day

My go to lazy/tasty/filling foods are eggs on toast or cottage cheese and fruit. Also mini cookies make me feel indulgent without blowing a ton of calories (more to do with fulfillment than fullness).

+1 on the yogurt. I throw a scoop or scoop and a half of whey in with the fruit. Handful of granola for crunch.

Well Andrew as long you don't make me eat it, I'm good with it. 😄 I think a while back some people were saying how they don't like cottage cheese. 🤷🏻♀️

Cucumbers soaked in balsamic vinegar with red onions. I do about 10# at a time and keep chilled in the fridge for the week. Perfect "binge" food, as it is nearly impossible to overeat.

Roasted whole giant red onions. Put a couple on every time I fire the grill. Cooked through by the time the meats done. Smother in kosher salt. Absolute delicacy and under100k. Use leftovers for taco or bowl stuffers.

Strawberries. Super low calories. Buy bulk by the flat. If they start to turn, clean, freeze and use in smoothies.

I think we all need to meet at JPs for a meal and then head over to Erqs the next day. 😋😋😋

Well, you can do both—with enough plant-based food. I’m not vegan, BTW, even though I talk a lot about the benefits of plant-based food. I just eat mostly plants. Fiber is underrated, but I think I’ve read that it also increases metabolism.
Just be careful when increasing the plant-based food that you eat so you don’t upset your stomach. Go slowly.

P.S. Amy’s makes soups that are plant-based, if you need a break from cooking.

Oatmeal cooked in milk, eggs, nuts, apples, low-fat cottage cheese. These foods keep me filled up and fueled for a long while.
