I just read that after surgery one should eat 15-20 calories per pound of body weight. That would be 1800-2400 for me figuring a bit low at 120#. I normally eat around 12.5/# or 1500ish. 😳 I’m thinking perhaps I should keep ‘over eating’ another week since he said I wasn’t healing yet. Normally he says it’s coming along nicely or another week and he would say the incision is pretty much healed. This time at a week post op he didn’t take off the strips just looked at the swelling and stuff and said, nope not healed so take it easy another week. Then a week of light leg stuff, no gym. Week 4 I can start light upper body, mainly housework stuff. Week 5 I’m back on the gym!! As long as I start nice and slow. After a year out there’s no worry on that because I’ll have to start with the bar again I’m sure 😂.
Surgical notes said more revisions needed. I go back in 2 weeks so I will ask him on that. Not too worried about it because I’m hoping those notes were for the insurance agents benefit and not completely true. Or maybe he’s talking fat grafting. I could stand to take some fat from my thighs and move to my chest 😛. Only if we can do it while my deductible is met though. Wish they could suck it all out but that’s not how it works sadly. Just enough to give the implant a more natural shape. Probably 1/2-1# moved up.
