The kids got me started on grapes again. We shared almost an entire bag on the way home for my he store a week or two ago so this trip I bought two bags! Ate half on the way home and half for dinner and another left for snacks. I’ve been craving broccoli too so picked up some to steam. The potatoes are from a bag and the chicken is from Walmart deli. Needed something quick and wanted heathy as we will eat a lot of junk now that it’s ball season and we get home most nights at bedtime. Tonight was chicken breasts for 3 of us and quarters for 2 with canned carrots and garlic French bread. Wanted more bread but I was smart and only let the oldest kiddo make half the loaf into garlic bread and she took the last piece since she made it 😉. Kinda balances out the two small apple fritters I had for lunch 😂. Was also planning ahead there and only got 6 instead of a dozen so that I wouldn’t eat a ton of them! The kids and hubby should finish them all in the morning probably. Now my hot tamales are staring at me. I swear I can hear them saying ‘you ate well today and know your gonna snack….. have some of us!’
