Happy 4th of July! 

Oh dear, should I slow down? On third pot. ajbusjahn I agree totally. We've been in the middle of WWIII for a blasted month. They were at it till almost dawn. ugh. It'll get worse before they stop too. Then 2 weeks of clearing out the leftovers and my cleaning the yard of little red sticks and tons of paper.

Yup yup on the feeling it today! Had s'mores yesterday... Hurting today. Gotta do it every so often to remind myself why I don't do it all the time anymore! Happy Independence Day!  

I have seen my share of fireworks injuries in my career.

Ajbusjahn, my hubby never gets mad nor has he ever put people down, but when he sees people using the EBT card, and then walk to their Mercedes to load groceries, he loses it! I hear about it for a week. I feel there is always karma! I must say, some idiots save all year to set them off the illegals for the fourth, WHY DON’T THEY EVER GET BORED???? Brother, they are still going at it. Welcome back my stray!🤗

Anne, it was so bad last night my husband didn’t get any sleep. They had a street take over as well about 1am and finally cops and helicopters appear, yet no one gets in trouble!😕 We all suffer for the very few knuckleheads that have no brains in their skulls! 😣 Yep on my 3rd cup of coffee this morning.😋☕️☕️☕️ 

Andrew, is the world getting worse? You spoke of shootings as a worse one occurred.😢 Brother, someday they’ll have a blood test that can measure how insane you are before purchasing guns! Until then, life is scary!! 😳 Prayers always for protection of family, to stay under underneath His everlasting arms, looking beyond the present moment and trusting He is the best form of protection that can’t be defeated. Shrewdness, I had a moron shooting of fireworks right next to my back door. It sounded like a sub machine gun going off in my kitchen. No hyperbole. I know what that sounds like irl. I finally went out to ask them to move away from the trailers. There's an empty field 20 feet away and a large empty parking lot another 20 feet from there. Her response - she screams at me she's not hurting anything and I'm racist. She's 5 foot from my back door and the back steps are dry and rotting. One good spark and they will go up like a shot. All night long she's out there setting that shit off. Bottle rockets hitting the house and the NOISE. You can't regulate stupid. Still not quite sure how asking her politely to move away from my home so she doesn't burn it down is racist but whatever. I guess she self identifies as a munitions expert and I was trying to burst her bubble. 

We will get back to business and keep coffee in hand! ☕️ Lol Made food indoors for dinner. It was too hot out. Later, sat in driveway at dark to watch the city’s fireworks. I have a lot of trees so it wasn’t the best even though they advertised to be higher up this year they appeared lower to me! They were very lame. My 14 year old nephew comes for the summer every year. He just played on his phone but said, “they must be on a tight budget this year!” 😂😆 Hope yours was great!!!

Andrew, my town cheats. Constant gunfire, smash and roll that car, robberies etc. We end up with 1-2 shootings/murders per year. They cheat by not allowing anyone outside of the hospital being able to declare someone dead. No hospitals in town. Thus all deaths of that type aren't counted as being in this town. We've been here since 2015 and only had a few. All the victims were in parts so kinda difficult to give lifesaving measures to bits of a human being. Last one they had to identify her by piecing her tattoo back together and using that as the "can you identify this woman". Smfh. Going by City Data it's so safe here. Very little crime of any type. Again, going by City Data crime stats- NY and the 5 Burroughs are TONS safer. I have a 1:500 chance of being shot, robbed or victim of crime. NY and environs- 1/25,000 chance. Nice. I felt safer walking around in the lower East side for hours, back at the height of the crack problem, than I do walking to Walgreens (100 yards away) mid afternoon.
