I had to pull up to the line to wait for my double quarter pounder to be made fresh. I don't know about your McDonald's but ours can't make the burger until you order it.

Speaking of burgers, we just got In & Out here in Colorado. The line is always 20+ cars deep. Is it really that good? I just read an article about how their food is fresh daily from the distribution center and that's why expansion is slowly moving east.

In and out is good, I don’t count it as typical fast food. It is fresh. If it’s worth a 20+ car wait, well, that’s something else. Go inside and order, it is usually faster. Remember to order a side of spread for the fries.

Small towns sometimes have really good dives that sell great burgers. My home town, 3000+ when I was growing up had two. One was good the other not so much. The good one today is even better, great burger!
