After two weeks of semi-controlled indulgences, I’m ready for the straight and narrow! My goal for this week is to have my average daily calories for the week be the lowest they have been since I started dieting in June. My low so far was 1,440. Purposing to have it closer to 1,400 this week.

Weight was down a bit this morning, but I’ve still got 2/10 of a pound to lose, just to match last Monday’s weight. It would be wonderful if it would actually show a LOSS for the week, but I’m not holding my breath.

I like that- semi-controlled indulgences! That is where I have been too and ready to be my first day of accountability today in the New Year!

A lot of us are coming off semi-controlled indulgences. Sure beats UNcontrolled indulgences, and shows how far you've come to still be able to enjoy holidays and family while reeling it in to a reasonable level 😃

My indulgences these last 2 months have been UNcontrolled but I too am taking New Year's day as the day to cut out all sweets, again. I believe they are affecting my brain and I've gained about 9 pounds. To be able to face it I am taking it slow in reducing high carbs. That sounds like weaning a baby but that's where I'm at.

@shirfleur 1, glad to have you walking alongside me for all these years! @Snowwhite100, you've got this. I've seen you be very successful in the past with your IF and sweets/breads reduction. Let's tell those 9 pounds goodbye as soon as possible.
