Adding sugars back into my life after years n years of avoiding it was the best thing I ever did. Instantly it boosted me on everything, my breathing felt a lot less stressful. I was working out in the morning fasted. Not saying everyone will get the same effect as me cuz I was so sensitive that eating a Rice Krispies bar sent chills down my spine, like literally felt my spine column ramping up. But it figured out what to do with it and it was what got me through the plateau I was hitting

Agreed working off straight sugar is one thing. (65 cals/tbls) VS working off one apple fritter at 500 cals. Now you got your work cut out for you. During workout or just prior to workout I’ll take the sugar🙋🏼‍♂️

For sure, Drew, drinking sugar is definitely not advisable unless you can still reach your calorie goals. That's hard to do with something that doesn't offer satiety, though! The only drinks with calories I partake in is milk with my donuts 😁. The occasional Barritos with my tacos too. Nom nom

Nice example, 66pack. An apple fritter had 135 calories from fat and 132 from carbs. More of a fat than a carb. Hmmmm

Also the people that say they are addicted to sugar n carbs should try a low fat diet. Sugars/carbs without fats is not tasty at all 😂

The high carb/fat combo foods are always confused with just carbs… I found some really interesting facts on the extreme benefits of carbs while in a deficit, I’ll post soon. Great post! 👍🏻

I do too, but let's be honest. No one is super obese from only cereal with skim milk, soda, and candy. It's the cake, donuts, chips, pizza, Mexican food, Chinese food etc.

Amen to that!

no I totally agree with your post I think it's completely on point. those calories add up so quick. I love to eat like really love to eat haha that's 60 percent of why I workout so much so I can eat even more but I keep my fats down because damn those calories stack super fast and for me they don't make me full. why eat 1 gram of fats when I can eat 2 grams of carbs or protein.

It's the chips for many people. I loved watching The Biggest Loser and hearing their stories. Some said they would open a large (family size) bag of chips and sit there for hours and sometimes finish the bag...4k calories! Chips & dip or salsa. That's crazy.

I sure did like the biggest loser.

Tortilla chips for one serving. 76 calories from carbs and 63 from fat. Still a pretty close ratio. And yes, I agree. Chips are a huge percentage of intake for many. I saw that Mexican food may have overtaken pizza in the states. What comes free as soon as you sit down? Chips and salsa. ;-)
