Thanks, I'm glad I did this comparison because when I cut hard, I always feel small and weak. It plays with your head. This will help me focus on the goal.

Until the mirror depresses me too much or I hit 180. Whichever comes first lol. And yes, strength follows suit. Pound for pound I should be a bit stronger though so idc. Strength is a bonus.

StormsGirl, the cut started that long ago, the pic was from the same bodyfat but it was after a little bit of a cheat day so my actual weight was probably closer to ~202 or so. I'd say about 8 pounds.

When you are cutting do you choose leaner meat cuts and reduce fat intake? How much of a calorie deficit do you go in for a cut cc to bulking?

Yes, less fat and a greater protein to calorie ratio. I don't usually do this but I'm getting a late start so my calories are pretty low but protein is high. I'd say at least a 1k cal deficit.

I want to do the bulk and cut method when I get healthy cuz I have muscles when I flex but not when relaxed and it really bugs me. I'm looking to my bodybuilder fs friends for help when that time comes. You look great in black th pics btw, but happier in 2nd one.

I know, cheese, it's sucks. No shakes yet but definitely feel small and weak which is why these pics help.
