^^Cool video on how a young bodybuilder(Tristyn Lee) finally began progressing again after he reintroduced carbohydrates after two years of being pure carnivore. He got stronger, looks a lot more full after just 5 days(same calories), had more stability in pressing movements, training feels better, pumps are way better. He also started to get sore again because the quality of his sets was better. Curiously, he actually lost weight. They hypothesize that he was overstressed from overtraining that he was holding so much water that even though he gained glycogen, he ended u 4 pounds lighter.

What people don’t get is carbs = explosive power. When you don’t have glycogen, your body burns amino acids to replace it, inefficient way, but it has no choice. When it comes to heavy duty they will always do better on carbs. Fat energy is too slow cuz it require oxygen. But I use to be impressed by him till you really see him next to other lifters

Yeah, precious amino acids which will cause muscle loss. So yeah, you'll lose bodyweight quickly, much of it being muscle which will reduce your metabolism priming you for a quick regain once you fall off the strict diet.

makes sense Diablo, thats probably is what happened in 2021, why my muscle mass was so low and I was so fatigued.
