Getting cut, sounds like less energy, less healthy fat, less sodium. They both have pros and cons to lifters. If they offend you, keep scrolling.

Why? 😕

Donuts do not have much “healthy fat”. Most of it is saturated. And, I could have just as easily said some snarky comment about scrolling on the several times you have left unsolicited “advice” and negative comments on my journal. 🤣

I knew you only commented because I left the novice lifter comment. But it is exactly the reason you will make strength gains in a calorie deficit. Just using simple logic. And no, less than 30% of the fat is saturated, and saturated fat IS healthy in moderation.

There is nothing wrong with a donut/cupcake/ice cream once in a while…enjoy it for me !
You can have a donut any time you want as long as you know what you’re doing. All these look exquisite. I don’t think I could ruin such a sight. A little too extravagant for me 😅. But for real, where are the cream filled donuts? Love me Boston creams.

When it comes to donuts I have a split personality. I can honestly say I never have purchased one/dozen in a grocery store, Dunkin donuts, Krispy Kreme, or specialty store. But I worked in a place where donuts always found there way into meetings or vendor gifts. I ate more than my share because no one else ate them... usually 3 was my limit. That happened about once a month. Not only did I eat them but because what was leftover always went in the trash and I hate food waste I took them home. Chopped them into bite size pieces and put in the freezer. Whenever it was employee brunch/lunch contribution day I would make a truffle out of the donuts, pudding, and whipped cream. That was always the requested item from me but no one ever knew what I was doing. I always thought it weird they wouldn't eat the donuts but devoured the truffle. I retired over 3 years ago and haven't had a donut since. lol. Not sure what this says about me but I am sure it says something.

Triffle not truffle.

I also snatched up all the uneaten cookies and brownies. I was a master of desserts back in the day. Lots of inspo from the web on what to do with leftover baked goods. lol
