Lowest weight since 2020 so this experiment is working for me. Sleep is king. Also, since I have something like this to look forward to, I haven't been tempted at work. An ambulance service had a huge box of cookies delivered to us and I didn't touch one. It was simple too. I decided to do this because I was looking at pics from 2019, where I was probably in my best shape, and I had sooo many treat pics. I was eating more treats than ever back then. Also, one of, if not my largest meal, was right before bed.

Good for you! I feel I haven't slept in ages. Once or twice a month I seem to sleep soundly and almost straight through the night.

Wha wha what? No more simple carbohydration calories? Lol. Seem like you’re leaning out quickly. What calorie deficit are you using? You go man! 💪

What in the Frosted Cheerios are you talking about, 66? :D Those pics I've posted 7 days in a row are full of fats and simple carbs.

I don't know what my deficit is, but my average calories are about 2500.

You are working your plan and your plan is working.

Agreed. It’s better to be hungry during your waking hours than when you are trying to sleep.

Oh, I see why 66 said that after reading my full post again. I refused the treats at work because I was waiting until I got home before bed to have them.

Sorry for the confusion Di. Not here enough to keep track of all the posts and pics but being a lover of pastries I guess I’m drawn to your donut pics. Thought they might be your only sugar calories each day. 2500 calories, down from what when you’re bulking? ✌️

Nice self-reflection, Diablo! One of the best things we can do is experiment with ourselves, pay attention to progress, and note what works well for us, along with what doesn't. That's what helps make progress more linear instead of revisiting the same location over & over along the journey. Personally, I've been having casien protein before bed. I've read that it gives you an amino "drip" for 7+ hours. Of course, I'm not far enough into the experiment to see if it is working or not, nor do I have much of a "without" to compare to. Anywhooo... congrats on everything you have accomplished & the mental & physical work you continue to put in!!! 🙂

Oh 66Pack I was confused too because about the cookies! LOL Thanks for clarifying. I like your pic's too (of the food and your muscles! LOL ) so I can drool over them.

Dinner is almost always my main meal, and I eat late, between 8 & 10, because otherwise I wake up hungry during the night. But, I'll let you enjoy those simple carbs and fats, definitely not my thing. 💚💜💛

Appreciate your post man! I’m kind of starting on the same journey. Married with two daughters and been my heaviest at 245 lbs. Goal weight is 205 and just really learning how to stay in a caloric deficit. Reading your posts inspires me and hope to continue growing and learning on your journey.
