Well, we are drowning in rain, yet last week the politicians were saying there’s a drought coming, guess they were hoping to raise prices of water and such. Now emergency money is needed, floods, mudslides, and water rescues. I was worried about Katsolo in San Diego, for boy, did they get hit hard!!!! Now, it’s our turn. Thunderstorms are coming which absolutely scares me. Just like Leonard Bernstein would never go outside during a thunderstorm, for he was a very good conductor, scared I might be as well.😳 I am a bit worried because there’s a few trees that are pretty dang tall here. I guess that will be my year goal to remove and trim them. So many trees have fallen on homes here, and destroyed them. As much as I love the trees for the birds, not worth losing your home over. You better beleaf it!😆 On another note, it’s National Frozen Yogurt Day. May pick up two little ones for my hubby and I for tonight, in the rain and all. 😋 Why in the heck did someone make a winter day such a National Holiday?! Yet, l am seizing the moment. Remember all those women on the Titanic who waved off the dessert cart.🙃 I am doing well, lost a few ounces didn’t gain even over last week’s fiasco. Didn’t get steps in yesterday. Will try to today even though it’s raining. I’ll walk the warehouse. If there was an award for taking the fewest steps in a day, I wouldn't get it, because I wouldn't even walk up to the stage to receive the award. I'll have the frozen yogurt. Tons of rain here always so our region is used to it. We are on high ground but have to worry about trees too.

Shrew, we were in SD during these floods. My sister lives in Chula Vista. It rained pretty hard. Luckily she lives in a newer part of CV so the drainage was good. We had to go to my Dr in La Jolla last Friday and it turned out to be a nice day.

Was in Idaho years ago for a wedding. Breakfast at a local place. They brought out some peaches. I asked the server girl if they were fresh peaches and she replied yeah we just opened the can this morning. This is a true story.

Morticia I pray that no tree gets you our Our trees are in the way back, but we still have structures out there. Our home is the lowest around so when it floods we get very close to being flooded out. We were in 1983 when the Seal Beach Pier was damaged. But that’s when 5 inches came down in one less than an hour.😔 That was a long time ago. Hope it never happens again.

I could never do that, but my husband and his buddies when they were racing, would go to restaurants and try to get the waitress to look at the time when she was carrying drinks, so she’d spill them..😦 They were mischievous in a nice sort of way. May tell my husband to do that.😁 Be Good!!!😊

I really just need someone to tarp the roof until we can get it reroofed. Yet, once you make one phone call to anybody in roof repairs you get flooded just flooded with spam and robo calls.😔 Hubby doesn’t want to go up there again, don’t blame him. He worked hard twice already, and record reigns, rip the tarps in pieces and took them off the roof. The only one going up there now is Roofer, a barn cat that patrols the roof.👍😁
Enjoy the rest of Sunday, not much left, but I’m enjoying it, messing around.😊

Leah_guffey, enjoy your prank on your kids.👍 One time, my husband, pranked our kids by pretending he hit his head on the cupboard and fell down unconscious. It was so real I got taken in. I was so mad at him I didn’t talk to him for about a month probably to his pleasure.😁😆

Diana, I was complaining so much about the rain living next to LA. Yet I kept seeing these horrifying scary pictures from San Diego. I was very worried about Katsolo, I’m glad she and your sister weren’t affected.
