Debbie Cousins's Journal, 25 Feb 24

Wow! This week, I have eaten 2-1/2 sticks of butter, 20 Kings Hawaiian Rolls, over 4,200 calories worth of Tapioca Pudding, 12 Thomas’ English Muffins, plus 3 other kinds of muffins (Cinnamon Crumb, Chocolate Chip, and Banana Nut), a whole Apple Cobbler (half of it with Ice Cream), over a CUP of Peanut Butter (22 Tbsp). My daily calorie intake averaged right around 3,000 calories. I bought it all, brought it all into my house, cooked it all, and ate it all. Nobody’s fault but mine! Stress, or no stress, that’s a ridiculous quantity of those items! Over 20,000 calories of food in one week! For church this morning, I had to dig through my “fat clothes” to find something that would fit me. This morning, I weighed 198.8, a full 20 pounds over what I was before Thanksgiving! (See why I fear the holidays?!). I’m going to TRY to start doing better 2m0.

We all have our ups and downs and I can have bad cravings for carbs and fat so I completely understand the week you had. Sounds a lot like my weekend. The important thing is to take a step in the right direction again ♥

Good for you that you are facing facts squarely. I have over-indulged this week also. At some point, we can't stand where we have allowed ourselves to get to. I'm just about at that point also. I hope you can turn this around now. If you (and I) don't, we know where it leads: to just more weight.

Thanks, Snowwhite100, TheRavenSworn and MorticiaAdams. Unfortunately, this constant indulgence has resulted in my weight going up this morning to 200.2 pounds! I don't know why I am surprised, with the way I have been eating. I can't even remember HOW to eat "right" to start losing again. It's been three MONTHS of insanity in the food department.
