Wrote down but forgot to post. Hating these ups and downs all the time. To keep from getting discouraged I choose to imagine the gains as muscle and the losses as water leaving me lol. Makes the mind less likely to over analyze every single 0.2# change. But from what others post, it could also be from higher carbs lately🤔. But I’ll go with muscle/water 🤪
62.2 kg Lost so far: 10.6 kg.    Still to go: 5.5 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.

happens all the time with me. higher carbs can also cause water retention. generally it is not real weight

1 gm of carb holds 3 gms of water approximately. But let's be positive: It must be a muscle gain. You are working out nicely.

Reader we can go with water too lol. Water retention isn’t permanent and goes away soon. Muscle is permanent so that’s best but I’ll take either! By permanent I mean will stick around while working out...

Baskington, it’s happeneinf more and more to me. That’s why I was thinking maybe water. Lost it overnight so alls well. I’ve learned not to get upset until it’s stuck around for a week. Occasionally I still get upset but can usually remind myself it’s not a true gain when over 0.2# in a day.
