Lol I still do. I have to even up the ‘girls’. I can do that by taking my muscle or fat and putting there. 😉 No matter how many times he tells me I won’t need my lats I don’t believe it. One really good thing about surgery- IF I keep to 1200-1400 diet for the week after I should lose another 1-3# just from the energy it takes me to heal! Which is good because I’ll be limited to slow short walks for 6-8 weeks and no more than 5# lifting. This surgery will be using thighs so no leg work at all. Last time I couldn’t use my core at all for 3 months! Shhhh I did and I think that helped me lose more and the muscles were already stressed so I think it helped by me stressing them more. I’m just now supposed to start working my core and using up to 20# total weight. 😳🤫 I wouldn’t have lost this extra 10# if I’d kept to his restrictions 🤗.

That’s why I’m so impatient for muscle growth and fat loss now before the end of the month. The more I do now the more I’ll feel like I can rest for a few weeks. Dig out my strap on weights so currently each arm is 1.5# heavier and each leg is 2.5# heavier lol. If my back would ever stop hurting I’d carry around a backpack with my hand weights! Just the 1-3# sets so 12#. Maybe the 5s too. Previous surgeries I wasn’t healing properly (because chemo was just 0-15 months before) so I took his advice. Last time and this time I don’t think it matters as much because it’ll be little tiny pin pricks rather than cutting me open. I plan to ask the onc her recommendation as well. She will say to do as much as I can but I don’t know the time frame she would prefer I rest. I like to poll my drs and take an average :).
