No running just 1.5 hours of lifting and less than 3k calories. Works well so far.

If you're not getting too fat, I'd say you're doing it right. I never do shrugs. I really don't want the gorilla look haha, just deads or rack deads have built mine up.

I rarely ever work abs and they show even with a lot of fat on the stomach. Seems they grow just from doing other heavy compounds. Good to see another example of that. I know what you mean on the thickness, I already miss it as far as filling out shirts more. I look a lot better in a tank top already though so it makes up for it.

15 pounds on your 6-foot frame may not be as much as you'd like but after this cut, bulk once again. Rinse and repeat and you'll be where you want eventually, man!

Thanks! I feel like this bulk was wasted because it seems that all I did was gain fat but then I see pics and notice some gains. They are minimal but that is to be expected at this point.

I thought I was doing something wrong for a while, meaning losing 2 lbs, then gaining 1 lb, then losing 2 lb, etc... up, down, etc, just wanted to thank you guys/gals for helping me understand that's just normal weight loss. How the body works! @chriss, from what I understand a lot of exercises work the core, abs without us even realizing we are. Farmers carries, dumbbell bench presses, deadlifts, squats, (well most compound movements, that's why they are so important) . Hope I am right on this. It's funny you said you noticed your lower traps growing diablo, I just noticed mine (not on your scale! Lol but for my body) growing a bit or just being a lot more pronounced, my brother mentioned it, cause I never really looked. For the past two months, in between workout days (mon, wed, Friday) I do regeneration moves, like resistance band face pulls, etc. light stretching just to keep the blood flowing, and noticed a difference in my body just from that. Who would have thought at 45 (46 in two weeks!) i would be in the best shape of my life! Sorry for long response, just get amped when I see others as into it as me. Thanks for the help in understanding these new, but life changing concepts!
