Staggering jump up tp 89.6kg this week; for the past entire week spouse has been - and still is - in cardiac unit of a local hospital, had surgery to remove fluid from around his heart and in his lungs. During the operation, I was absolutely terrified I would lose him. So what have I done for the past week? Take away rubbish, lots and lots of it. The only saving grace is not drinking wine because I need to drive to see him every day. Stress is a horrid thing.
He seems to be out of the woods so I am back on low-carb today using Diet Doctor menus. No idea when he will be home ...
89.6 kg Lost so far: 0 kg.    Still to go: 15.6 kg.    Diet followed: Not Applicable.
Gaining 2.5 kg a Week

It’s never easy when your loved one is unwell. Take care of yourself as well 🥰

Feel for you my friend. Have had similar happen. At this time you have enough worry in your life. So, if there's a little gain, don't stress. That too will pass and when life starts to return to normal, so will your weight loss journey. Best wishes.

I’m so sorry you both are going through this. It’s very hard to make the best choices when stressed and eating out (I’m guessing you’ve had a few meals away from home). Great job getting back to plan today!

I understand you totally. I was in hospital two months ago for my partner's operation. everyone told me it's a small operation and he could go home right after the surgery.... but the thing didn't go well at all, my partner end up had to stay in hospital for two weeks... all I was doing is eating and eating junk food (like instant noodles). I totally understand your situation and I'm praying for you and your partner.😊😊😊

Your hubby is the priority here, you can restart your diet when he is better. I wish you both luck.
