Weight still maintaining about the same, even with eating whatever I want. Trying to not be too hard on myself - to be understanding, and patient, and kind - as I would be to a FRIEND. I've started being a LITTLE bit more productive. I made a pact with my best friend (she is in CA and I'm in VA). Each day, I will text her, and we'll each do a job that we DON'T want to do. Yesterday, I folded and put away a basket of clothes that has been in the dining room for two weeks. The day before that, I vacuumed the living room, dining room, hallway, entryway and my bedroom. The day before that, I vacuumed the kitchen and back entryway, and MOPPED them with my Shark Duo. All of these are MAJOR accomplishments that I would (and have) procrastinated about for MONTHS. I know it is only a LITTLE progress, but it is SOME progress. I guess it's the "misery loves company" aspect, that we are BOTH suffering at the same time that is making it effective.

A healthy mental attitude is a great asset, Debbie; sharing the problem and supporting each other is even better.

Debbie, what a good idea. You are helping each other and holding each other responsible. Wonderful idea.

It's so great that you are still making small daily goals! As the old adage goes..."How do you eat an elephant? One step at a time." Or "Rome wasn't built in a day." ...It's those daily smaller accomplishments that add up over time.
