Hi mosi it seems like you are already doing a great job of losing weight I wish the 80s would come back too I'm also a 80s baby I took graphic design classes online at AI and got my associates degree it was a good experience I'm still working on my drawings and things like that and I love music so most of my collection is old school and I'm collecting more as I go be blessed

Thanks for dropping in :-) I started working out seriously in my early 20s. it was convenient (there was a gym across the street from my job) and my body responded well but when you're young, you do everything for the wrong reason and it's not sustainable :-D I was never very overweight but I always seemed to struggle with just getting very fit or at least to a place where I felt comfortable in my own body. Now, once I figured out the psychology of it all, it's become much easier. Weirdly enough, reading self-development books and listening to tapes and motivational speeches has actually helped me lose more weight than any diet book lol. Which AI did you go to? I briefly considered going to AIFL back in 2001 but I decided against it. I still do graphic design for work but it doesn't allow me to be as creative as I would like so I started drawing again as a creative outlet since I can't do it for my job.

You are so right when you're young you think you know everything and nothing much matters because you don't really have much responsibility I was a skinny child I didn't weigh much at all but as you get older life just happens I been through some things and in the 8th grade I found out I had hbp because I was overweight I wasn't very comfortable in my body it seemed like I got bigger by the minute and I'm still working on being able to be comfortable with that but now I'm doing something about it and that makes me feel good and the support here is great and of course I got to give thanks to the head of my life God has blessed me abundantly and I went to Pittsburgh AI

That's right. Just remember that you're making changes, even though you can't see them. I think the biggest challenge for me was not losing faith. Early on, you don't see any changes but you know it's happening. And remember that this is a lifelong journey so you'll never quite 'arrive.' Having support is also really important and I'm glad you're getting what you need.

Yes sir when I look in the mirror I don't see anything but the scale says its coming off so who am I to argue lol I have been there before I lost faith for awhile but i believe certain people are sent to you to help you get your faith back and thats what happened to me It was even hard for me to love anyone for awhile because I felt like noone loved me I dont feel that way anymore and I am able to tell my family I love them freely now I'm just going with the flow and thank you for the support and I wish you the best on your journey be blessed
