Debbie Cousins's Journal, 25 Dec 20

Didn't go hog wild or pig crazy yesterday, PTL. Weight still the same this morning. The thing in which I indulged the most was the Spinach Dip - but it's really only spinach, sour cream, mayo, green onions, water chestnuts and some Knorr Vegetable Soup mix, so, it's not ALL that bad! (If only there was a way to deliver it to my mouth that didn't involve crackers, bread or tortilla chips, I'd be doing GREAT!)

Christmas Eve get-together went rather smoothly. The three people who are most cautious about not being around anyone without a mask agreed to come AFTER we ate our Christmas offerings, then they arrived and joined in. Everyone seemed to have a good time.

DID have a big scare beforehand, though, as my daughter thought my grandson was running a FEVER! She thought he felt hot while he was sleeping, but her husband didn't think so, and when he got up he felt and acted completely normal, so scare averted. WHEW! DID make for a couple hours of concern, though!

Hope everyone had (or IS HAVING) a great time for Christmas. I know things aren't "normal," but I hope you are making the best of it.

I still haven't decided what I am going to do after the holidays! Keto? Calorie Counting? Atkins? Intermittent Fasting? Combination of above. Praying for guidance, peace and resolve to accomplish what the Lord wants for me - healthy body and good self-image.

Merry Christmas to all!

Have you thought of tracking macros and letting the calories take care of themselves.
