Forgot my lunch yesterday, so I got to - unintentionally - do a 16:8 fast lol.

I used to like the feeling of hunger when I was smaller. Apparently, my bigger muscles get hangry real quickly.

All is well though. Will NOT make this mistake again.

Thank you Chris and Mermee for this onlooker’s entertainment. I was in pain after visiting the dentist so trying to sleep early. I kept hearing noises in the house it was freaking me out and I was sure it must be a mouse or ghost. I finally got up to bravely check it out and my son’s window was cracked open and it is very windy out blowing things about and making the closet door creaking to the sound of something very spooky. I came back to bed a bit shaken and then came across your posts and now I am all smiles and back to earth. Still scary windy out. 😊

I’ve done that a time or two this month. Just got busy and didn’t want to stop or didn’t have time (when I’m town and didn’t want Hugh calorie drive through food). Maybe you should keep some microwave meals or protein bars at work or in your vehicle just in case. Can’t have you hangry!

Thought you might have a locker or break room and get to stop back there for lunch. I get these shelf stable meals I like. I’d be tempted to snack on a protein bar if it was within reach too! I have a snickers in my purse but it’s half smashed. Every time I pull it out I’m like well, the thing looks smashed and I really want bites not bits so I put it back lol. Having it there makes me less worried about grabbing snacks at gas stations and stuff when I’m running errands but I really don’t want to eat a smashed up snickers lol. Win win for me :).

That’s hilarious Chris!!!! I have what I call a kitchen ghost, it karate chops stuff out my hands and makes me drop dishes and spills sticky stuff on a newly mopped floor, and just a nuisance to have around. 👻

I couldn’t drive a bus if eating isn’t a part of driving. I eat at least every two hours. My wife wondered if something was wrong with me because I wasn’t in the kitchen 3 times yesterday making food while she was baking (I ran errands and ate while I was out, only one kitchen foray).
