I'm doing something right!

I know my diet is on point. I've notice the scale weight dropping and seeing more veins and muscles appearing. Thanks to Diablo and HebrewsOne for always advocating a high protein diet - here's proof it works.

Here's the kicker that makes me elated:

I had a body scan done on February 2nd. I just had another one done today and the results are amazing!

This month alone I...
- lost 3.2 pounds
- dropped 2.1% body fat to now 15% 😀
- increased 1.1 pounds of muscle mass

Since August I...
- added 3" to my shoulder measurements
- added 4.5" to my chest
- added 1.5" to my arms
- lost 1.5" from my waist
- added 1-2" to everything else

The awesome part is in August I...
- weighed 153 (9 pounds less than now)
- looked chubbier when naked
- my body fat was at 19%
- my strength and endurance was SO much less than now

My muscles are growing like crazy and the fat is like desert sand being blown away to reveal the treasure that's been hiding for so long!
73.7 kg Lost so far: 0 kg.    Still to go: 0 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.

awesome man!! I need to just make time to get a scan. did you do the dexa? that's offered several places in my city just wondered how accurate they are. used to get calipers at my old gym but depends on who's using them.

Have you ever posted your exercise routine? I'd like to see that. Awesome w/the protein intake. That's my fave also. I luv muscle. The older we get, the more difficult it is to keep it. :(

It is never just about the scale anymore. The scale is just one aspect of our life. Important , but not the whole true picture. No? Godspeed.

TY 4the quickie! (*_0) I do the same. I mix it up, but now, at this age, I don't lift anymore like I used to. I really don't lift that much. I do dumbells: flys/presses w/10 lbs. I sold all of my Olympic/Universal weights, machines, barbells, weighti-trees, etc. in 2009. I realize that I have to do more cardio than anything. I used to bench 150 lbs. and I used to use 45 lb dumbells back in the day. lol The heart is the most important muscle and IMHO it's the only one that I try to keep conditioned so the rest of my body stays in tune w/itself. Are you meaning that CICO is bunk or is that what you do? Also, your pic looks like one of our cats: Whitey....that's short for SnoWhitey. :)
