Day #45, down a pound, total lost 54 pounds. Six pounds left to go and 12 days to get there. Crunch time!

Glad I had the forethought to add in Physical Therapy. At least it is SOME exercise in my life, and it is every day. The therapist told me to not do the regiment twice a day but to only do it once. So, I've been doing that and trying to increase from one set of 10 (on most things) to two sets of ten. My knees are feeling more solid and steady when I walk, though they did hurt yesterday. I can get up more easily from a sitting position. My neck hasn't been hurting and all tensed up EVERY day, as it was before therapy. Now it's only about twice a week. My back isn't hurting with normal dish-doing, but when I have a LOT, it does start to hurt. All improvements!

Yesterday, I wanted to EAT all day - I couldn't do that, of course; but I wanted to. I pray that when I DO start eating again, I will be able to control the quantity, quality and frequency of what I consume. Right now, I'm leaning toward six half-meals a day. Not set in stone, though.

When I come off the fast, I need to rein-in my Diet Coke consumption. Even though I had 11 cups of water yesterday, I also had almost 2-liters of Diet Coke. Want to cut that back to three 12-oz cans as soon as possible. Good to know it's not PREVENTING my water-drinking, but it is still too much of a bad thing going into my body too frequently!

To any of my praying friends ... if the Lord brings it to mind, please pray that I would make it down to 199 pounds on or before June 27th, preferably before. I've got a lot riding on this. That $1,369 would be a real blessing, and it would be very hard to handle missing the goal by only a pound or a half pound. I know God will give me grace for however things turn out, but I would REALLY like a win here!

Purely by God's empowerment, I've been fasting since May 3rd, and I'm prepared to go all the way to the 27th if I need to, There's no way I could have done this without Him! I have seen His help every step of the way, and I'm trusting that He will continue to help me continue to rise to the challenge and that He'll give me victory - not because IIII have done so well, but because HE has invested so much into getting me this far, and has taught me to rely on Him day by day, hour by hour.

"Trust in the Lord with all thine heart and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways, acknowledge Him, and He will direct thy path."

Thank you, Debbie. Your commitment, persistence and results are an inspiration and frankly, a beacon of light here on FS, where food porn, rationalization, delusion, and outright denigration of fitness seem to have become the regrettable norm for too many. Secular beast that I am, never in my days would I have imagined that I might draw inspiration from a Preacher's wife, but I do. I know bubkis about the spiritual world, but here in the secular world, results speak and yours are among the very best. Not just in terms of your impressive fat loss, but also in terms of mindset, attitude, and approach. Wishing you the absolute best for the duration of your fast, your contest outcome, and thereafter. There is zero doubt that you have earned it.

Great job, Debbie! Also, check with whoever handles the prizes to see whether they automatically take out the taxes before checks are mailed out. There are federal and state laws in some places that require it to be deducted before sending prize money to winners. Don't want you to be shocked when you win that the amount is 25% (or more) less than you anticipated.

Nice! Honestly any exercise is good no matter what it is. The key is to keep moving. great job!

@JustBananas. They do not take out taxes, so I will have to claim a little over $1,000 of it as winnings. They DO have Paypal take out 2.9% (about $40+) if you want to get your money that way. I'm opting to have my check mailed to me, so I can take a picture with it and post here, LOL!
