I worked so late on Friday, I arrived home at 9 pm, then just woke up and went back to work on Saturday. I am just now posting, but not weighing in. At least I don’t hate my job, but didn’t plan on being there that long and didn’t bring food. The day has 24 hours, I guess if we can’t finish our work, we still have the night, right? 😆
Arriving home in the dark, I stopped at Arby’s. My hubby got home before me from fishing, which was a bummer, for he’s birthday is today and I wanted to get some stuff done for him.🙃 The greatest lie the devil ever told was that you would get up and finish that project in the morning. — I still need to work on his birthday! 🎉
I ended up so hungry, because of no lunch, I ordered a lot at Arby’s. Then I put dinner and dessert out for my son, who has Covid, and he didn’t touch it, so I ate that too!😦 It included a malt. Ahhhhh! Then today is of course, cake and ice cream!😋
My son is young and strong. I don’t see him and I think it’s affecting him like a bad flu, maybe even a mild flu, but not like the killer Covid that it can be, so thankful!!!💕
Off to prepare a birthday celebration for hubby, then off to see the new grandson today. Yahoo!!👏👏👏
Oh my gosh, what time is it? Dang it keeps changing!!🙁

Happy birthday to your husband and I hope your son recovers quickly. My son is still sick with Omicron.I feel helpless as he is in Colorado.

I am so blessed as my son is going out now to get take out and I am not worried about him any longer. He is physically fit, so that fact, and his young age, and all the wonderful prayers helped him.
I am going to try to plan ahead this year, yet just as you say, life happens.🙃

Happy birthday wishes for your husband! Sounds lovely, especially the new baby! Glad your son is doing well, my grandson is also on the mend.
I remember those year-end closings and getting ready for the audit ( I worked for a nonprofit). But you know, I really loved it; until one day, I just didn't anymore. Now I love retirement, though I do sometimes miss the camaraderie.

I am scared if my kids move far from me, I am horrible, for I strongly discourage them from doing so. I don’t allow them to fly away. I am selfish! Have a Terrific Tuesday Diana!🌺☀️

Nikina, it doesn’t stop, I have report after report to get through. If it wasn’t for the CFO being swamped, I’d be very discouraged.
It was magical holding Grayson, while he slept. 2 weeks old, just eats and sleeps, and a couple other things.😁 Thank you for the well wishes. 🌸🌼

Shirfleur, 💕 I think the virus has mutated to the point it is no longer so dangerous, but it will never leave us. Just like the regular flu, it changes from year to year.😐 So happy your grandson is also better.👏👏👏
I am overwhelmed and sort of a little bit down about being behind, but I do love my job, I hope I don’t get to the point I won’t, it may happen in due time, who knows.
My husband needs the camaraderie, when he worked in his own little office, I just knew he missed that. He may not be making as much money as he was before, but he’s a lot happier.😊
