So, in two days - just one with 1550 calories, the previous with about 600 calories - I have stacked on a whole kilogram. I am raging white with fury.

Later, when I had calmed down, I enjoyed a double ice cream. Life is back on track. :-)

Maybe you aren't eating enough and your body is holding on to every calorie? I've often heard that going under 1200 calories can make your body think it's starving and it will hold on to everything you eat.

It's just a fluctuation. As long as you know your calories in are less then your calories out just keep going and it will work itself out. This could be digestive contents or water weight. Just give it time and it will come back down.

Hi, how many litres of water did you drink a day when you were on your induction diet.

double ice cream will help you. I had to do that to get my metabolism back on track. It was a very enjoyable week. My only advice is have the ice-cream in the morning and lighten the dinners I did not so I ended up gaining 2 kg 3 weeks ago. When you see your body starting to lose weight at 1000-1500 calories or maintain instead of gaining then you will know you metabolism is where it should be

eightpac, I was drinking 2-3 litres of water most days. Thanks for the ice cream tip, I never keep any in the van so have to attack a shopping centre during the day.
