I had a good day yesterday. Had to do some extra stuff when I went out in the morning, so I didn't finish my first four bottles of water until 10:17, but I got them in. Took a late morning nap, so I was pressed to get in the second four bottles by 2pm, but I made it, hallelujah.

Didn't really "want" to do my walking yesterday, but the gateway goal is just to put on my running shoes, so I did it. I sat there with my running shoes on for about half an hour, and kept noticing them, which prodded me to get up and actually do the walking. Got in my 1/2 mile, just walking inside the length of our rancher. Today, I'm going to attempt to actually go OUTSIDE to walk. We live on 10 acres of mown grass.

I'm now listening to an audio book called "Tiny Habits for Weight Loss." It has many of the same principles of "Atomic Habits," but it is a harder listen - it is about twice as long, and the chapters are about an hour long. It was easy with A.H. to just read the bite-size chapters of about 15-20 minutes. The guy who wrote the book is somewhat of a wisecrack, and uses a lot of sarcasm. It's read by another guy who is quite humorous to listen to. He annoyed me at first, but now I find him entertaining.
