Good morning y'all. Yesterday was another good day for me - hope it was for you, too. I got in ELEVEN 8-oz bottles of water (88 oz)! Made the mistake of drinking it until 3pm instead of just til 2, though, and paid for it by having to wake up every 1-1/2 hours through the whole night! NOT FUN.

I also cut down on my Diet Coke. Limited from 3 liters to "just" two liters. It was a real challenge, and I had to be mindful of it all day, but I did it. That means I drank MORE water yesterday than I drank DC.

Also had a very victorious day of walking. After my 1/2 mile at the grocery store, I went outside (lovely day) and walked around the perimeter of our 10-acre property (another 1/2 mile). With my "getting-up-every-half-hour-and-walking" plan, I added another SIX sets of 200 steps, for a total of ONE POINT SIX miles! That's the most exercise I've gotten in a single day in well over a year - probably more.

I am really feeling the walking in my knees this morning, though. They were already hurting when I got up yesterday, but I pushed through. Hurting even more this morning. Already put some Voltaren (Diclofenac) on them. I'm debating about doing the outside walking, or at least staying on the more level ground. Might go a little easier on them today by just doing the grocery store and the 200-step stints. It's already 60 degrees this morning, and will be 63 by the time I get home from the store. I'm looking at a high of 77 today, which is great if you're in a swimming pool, but too hot for me to just be outside (unless there is a very nice breeze and some shade).

Enjoyed my fruit smoothie yesterday - frozen blueberries, strawberries, frozen black grapes, frozen banana, yogurt and a little milk. Much tastier with freezing more of the fruit! Speaking of which, I need to go and get the ones I did yesterday from the sheet pan and put them into Ziploc bags and put some more on to flash freeze. Naw, I'll do that when I get back from the price monitoring. On my To Do List, though.

Weight down this morning, PTL. The intention is to go down slowly and develop HABITS which will enable me to maintain the losses for years to come!
