Weight stayed the same this morning. Guess what! I started drinking water again, and I'm getting PAID to do it! Through May, I can get paid $150/week by giving plasma twice a week - but I need to drink at least a gallon of water the day before each treatment. Also, I'm not supposed to drink caffeine before giving plasma, so the Diet Coker will be drastically reduced! God works in mysterious ways, right!

Also recommended for donating for plasmapheresis is to eat a high protein diet. Looks like I'll be adding in more meat and less bread.

This is exciting. My husband and I are going to sign up as new donors this morning after his regular doctor appointment. Didn't know about the water-drinking thing until late yesterday, so they might have trouble drawing my blood this first time. If they can't get it, though, I can just come back tomorrow. This money will be SUCH a blessing for paying our estimated taxes of over $1,000 a quarter!

The price monitoring jobs we were doing have almost dried up completely. It was a good reminder that GOD is our source - not the particular company that had been paying us. When God closes a door, He opens a window, and this one seems to be one of those big giant windows.

If anybody reads this before noon today (Thursday) please pray that the donation process will go smoothly - especially for me, since I'm usually a "hard stick" when it comes to giving blood. Also, pray that they don't have to take it out of my hand! My hands are really sensitive to pain.

THANK YOU, and thank God for the motivation I've had for the past four days! I was able to go and help my daughter get her house clean both yesterday and the day before.

That's a whole lot of good things happening for you, since you decided to get back on track. God is always faithful to provide a way for you when you are ready. The increased protein and decrease in carbs/diet drinks will be so good for you too 🤗 Best of luck with the donation

Hope it goes well! They really know what they're doing there, so it should go smoothly. Lots of water, no Diet Coke -- sounds like a double win! Sometimes it's these serendipitous things that make us take better care of ourselves 😊
