Debbie Cousins's Journal, 27 May 22

Yesterday was spent nursing this giant 3" bruise on my right arm. I strapped two used chamomile tea bags on my arm for an hour, strapped on a big split aloe leaf for an hour, used ice until noon (24 hours) and then switched to heat for 20 minutes on and 20 minutes off, and used the Arnica bruise cream every time in between those methods. The center of the bruise is starting to fade some.

Eating-wise, I did pretty well - again, too much snacking, though. Didn't drink any water - all Diet Coke all day. Basically no exercise except to and from the kitchen to get food, and I went to the grocery store to do five jobs and buy a couple items.

There's a tornado watch in effect right now, but it's very calm outside - no rain, and the birds are singing, very slight wind - just enough to gently rustle the leaves on the big trees out front. Supposed to start thunderstorming at 11am and go until 1am tomorrow morning.

The community pool opens on Saturday morning and will be open on Sunday and Monday for Memorial Day. I won't be able to take my granddaughter because she tested positive for covid on Tuesday. Hopefully, I'll be able to take my grandson. Indulged in buying two swim outfits and a hooded shark towel for my grandson, since he had outgrown his suits from last year. Don't know yet if my granddaughter's will still fit her until she tries them on. She's only 11, but she is very busty and also overweight. (Wonder where she gets that - the excess weight, not the bustiness!)
115.6 kg Lost so far: 1.9 kg.    Still to go: 47.5 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.

i drink at least 80 oz of water a day. it took a while to get used to it

I try to drink a gallon a day. Or more. I drink water when we eat out. I think water helped me loose this weight. Hope your granddaughter gets a simple case Not too sick. Hope you are safe and careful with your weather.
