Yesterday ended up being a good day. I thoroughly enjoyed my creme brulee! She had just done the brulee before she came, and it was so light and crisp. The creme was rich and smooth and delicious! I loved it SO much that I only ate half of it before we went to the pool, so that I could have the other half when we got home. My taste buds were in heaven!

I finished the day with 1,800 calories. Got in Ranier cherries, cucumbers, butter beans and a sweet juicy peach for my fruits and veggies. Drank over a gallon of water (it was hot at the pool). I went in the pool three times, so that was three times going up and down the steps, plus a little walking in the pool. SOME exercise.

Today will be another challenging day. Having steak and baked potatoes for dinner. Usually, I have the baked potato slathered with melted cheddar cheese, with crumbled bacon and drenched in homemade Buttermilk Ranch dressing. Today, I'm going to omit the cheese, and limit the dressing to 2 servings. My husband wants to have Sister Schubert rolls with dinner; but I'm choosing to NOT have one, since it would add in too many calories with the butter. Anticipating the day to end at just under 1,900 calories.

Weight was the same this morning (which is 0.2 calories higher than it was on Monday morning. It might be that this 1,800-2,000 calorie range is only "maintaining" for me and I will have to lower it if I want to continue to lose.

I knew you would enjoy the creme brulee!😋 Great planning on skipping the roll and making a simple potato…I have to eat gluten free. It has been a blessing in disguise because it takes away the temptation of so many things such as rolls and other baked goods that are everywhere! Plenty of gf things but you have to go looking just not in your face everywhere. It has helped me SO much!:) You got this! Have a great weekend, Debbie!

Swimming is a great way to exercise in the heat. When I take my kids to the waterpark I go on the slides a lot just for the exercise of going up all those steps to the top.
