Status quo this week. Trying to stay on my good eating habits. Going to eat tonight at the regional insurance agents' group. But have already decided to order a turkey burger and I do plan to eat my fries. I have been good and my boss said to go big or go home. She was like, don't order a baked potato with a burger. Honestly when I get back to town I might blow it out and get ice cream. I'm starving right now & it is only 2:10pm.

Hubs and I are also in status quo. He is on his 3rd week away and he is talking about buying a truck and doing his own thing. He still maintains he only wants to drive for 2 more years. He would like me to ride along but then I would be trapped with Hyde when he gets mad and I am NEVER going to accept his habits as ok. Plus I like my job and don't want to be a nomad. I miss him though but I have to say not seeing evidence of his habit is better for my mental health. "One day at a time."

I went back to church yesterday. I had skipped several weeks but it was good getting back into my routine. I went to the mall after and walked 1.62 miles.

It was weird today. Two people from where hubs was fired from came by to leave marketing materials that my husband designed. One woman is from choir. I told them it was salt in the wound since my husband is on the road now because of how unceremoniously he was canned from that business. The one lady said that choir starts back in September, I might be able to go back by then. I am bitter about it all.

I offer my general support of you, but I'm appalled that your boss is offering any opinion whatsoever about what you choose to eat, unless you are very good friends.

Well, when I know I'm going to over-eat or eat a horrible meal I just don't eat a big meal the whole day....I'll do bone broth and salad/tuna with no dressing.

@MarshaRN Sounds like me. But I legit like plain tuna so I can easily do that. Lately I have been Atkins food and being mindful of "regular" food. It has been good to get back to my goal weight. It is very hot in Texas so when the weather ever gets cooler, I can get back to my 3+ mile a day of walks. Now I get a mile a day.
