Good day yesterday. Down 2/10 of a pound this morning to 244.0 from 244.2. Calories 1,640. Fiber 26.4g. Fruits/Veggies: butter beans, watermelon, cantaloupe, cherries.

Still trying to get our pool chemicals balanced after letting it sit for over a month with the pump not running when a hose broke and we had to let out water below the pump line. My husband found a marine bilge pump that fits and so far we've gotten the water from a deep dark green to a light green, but we still can't see the bottom. Spent about $150 in pool chemicals to get it balanced, just so we can CLOSE it in less than a month. UGGH.

Today is a community pool day. Nights are getting down into the low to mid 60's, and daytime temps have only been in the low 80's this week, so the water is actually on the cold side (or at least it was last week). Doesn't matter to the kids. We've got friends joining us today - my daughter's friend and her two sons. My grand daughter has a crush on the 12-year-old so she's actually going to go INTO the water today (she hasn't, about the past four times we've gone). I'm happy she's going to have fun.

Yesterday, I had several temptations. Everything I ate, I wanted to have MORE. I did allow myself a 50-calorie sugar wafer lime cookie at the end of the day and stayed within my daily calorie target range for this week. I was actually tempted just now to have a second slice of Dave's Killer Good Seed Bread toasted with butter. It is SOOO good. It's what gets me out of bed in the mornings.

Hope everyone has a good day today. Try to wait out temptations to see if they will pass. Sometimes, they do. Remember, "Delay, don't Deny." If you know you can have something "later," it sometimes helps to resist it in the moment.
