Not sure what's up with the slight gain. Probably just digestive contents. Ate two sugar-free candies today to help with that.

Yesterday was stressful. I invited one of my daughter's friends and her sons to join us at the pool. She talked the WHOLE time - the kind where you can't get a word in edgewise. It was draining. Then, my granddaughter didn't want to go home and there was drama about that. I did fine on eating and Diet Coke, though, PTL!

Our home pool water is STILL green, and we've been treating it for over a week now. Next year, we may not join the community pool and just use our own so we can get some use out of it. On the other hand, I hate for my grandson to lose his swimming ability, since he can touch the bottom in our 54" deep pool. Sigh. I've got a eight months before I need to make those decisions, though. Not going to waste my energy on it.

Pool day with just my grandson tomorrow.

Did you mean your grandson "can't" reach the bottom of your pool so that is why you like to be able to take him to the community pool? That's understandable but expensive. Maybe next year he will still be able to swim and could handle your pool. I need to be praying about it along with praying for your granddaughter. It's great that you've been hanging tough with your eating when you are under so much stress! I've been able to come and go since Friday so am better, but not getting much sleep. He is demanding, but the Lord is carrying me, and I'm grateful.

No, @Snowwhite100, I meant he can touch the bottom, so there's no need for him to swim or tread water. He can just stand up and walk around. Yes, the community pool is very expensive - it's $500 for the pool season and that's only because we are stockholders (I don't remember how much it cost us to buy stock, but it saves on the summer expenses). Glad you're not living under the fear of being locked out of your own home anymore, Snow. Glad, as always, that the Lord is helping you!
