Wearing another pair of jeans that I haven't worn in many moons. It feels good! The weather in Texas has been marvelous so I am cashing in on longer walks on my lunch breaks and such. Work has been stressing me out a bit more lately but sometimes that causes me to eat less so that it s a perk.

My best friend got mad at me over something petty but in the past week, I have reconnected with other friends in her absence.

I have an odd calm over me. Maybe people are praying for me behind the scenes. Hubs will be gone he thinks for another long haul but I talked to him last night and said it is ok. Our RV weekend seemed to help our marriage a lot. I am trying to remain hopeful and not let my fears creep in. I talked to one of the smokers at work and she said if I think he has quit tobacco to just leave it be and not ask because it will remind him of it. So trying to pray to have the peace to leave sleeping dogs lie.

In the meantime I am walking my stress away, one mile at a time.

1:00pm UPDATE:

Hubs is coming home this weekend so that makes my anxiety rise. After such a good weekend, I'm hoping it continues and more togetherness doesn't stress me. Hope he is on good behavior too.

I dusted off my old jeans as well. Mine are really old...1996 Tommy Jeans. And the two pair that I saved were/are in great condition. It feels good and a little weird to be wearing them. lol

@TheUnhealthyDad Congrats! I hang on to clothes forever. These are probably about 8 years old. I like jeans without stretch because they keep you honest haha

TheUnhealthyDad has a weird habit of deleting his responses after he has been acknowledged. It's not just on your journal, Wisteria. Congrats on fitting into more pairs of past pants! Love how you get so much walking in when Hubs is out of town. Good for weight management and mental stability 👍🏻💚

@JustBananas Thanks, I get much more walking in while he is away. I eat less and different things. When he comes home, we go to dinner or he cooks different things. He doesn't worry about his calories HA.
