thanks for the support on last comment. someone mentioned about a dog, and we do have a beagle that helps when i have panic attacks. My cat could care less. 😂Overnights for my hubby has been a tough adjustment on us all... I still have strong anxiety after he leaves, but well timed CBD helps keeps panic attacks at bay. Asking the kids to remain quiet is like asking water to not be wet. KENNA- i know it seems confusing. I have complex ptsd. What seems like little worries to others isnt for me. Change isnt always perceived as opportunity when the first 25 years of my life was pure Hel. Its the first time ever he went on midnights on the worst floor...mental health unit at a state penitentiary... I was scared, not only for his well-being, but health too. circadian rhythm out of wack, cortisol of having to be on high alert and awake, endocrine imbalances leading to weight gain....etc
I have 18 out of 32 dreadlocks left to brush out, im using coconut oil as a conditioner to hydrate my hair. I wet the lock, slather it with oil, and gently pick away until its unraveled. Its working great! Each lock takes about 1/1.5 hrs to undo. Went from pixie cut when i let them form to waist length hair. I will miss them..
Our toddler had locks too, he had his first haircut in his 3 years last night. He has my thick Greek-Italian hair.
Anyhooo. Thanks for reading my post. I think stress is causing me to eat in my calorie window. Plus the Halloween candy is mostly gone 😂

I can totally relate as I describe the first 30 years of my life like you do. I also am not a fan of change and am susceptible to stress.

Good luck I use CBD also. Repetitive movement work is a good distraction too. I knit and color in adult coloring books. Mental health is a garden that needs tending, but it will bloom.

Carolyn, I knit too! It’s ridiculously soothing.
