I've just weighed myself at 4:30am. I "went to bed" at 11:30pm after packing for my son's very first trip to the beach, then stayed 100% concious in bed for the following five hours. My body refused to let me sleep for seemingly no other reason than to spite me for really wanting to get some sleep before the trip. Now we can't go because I've had no sleep. The weather forecast for the rest of the week is garbage, and then my leave from work is over. Better luck next year.
