Trying to adjust my diet a bit. I am still wanting to tone up and I need more protein to do it. I got a little BlendJet and intend to make smoothies. Made one last night with 1/2 a banana, almond milk and a splash of chocolate syrup. The weather is nice today so hope to walk at lunch. Trying to drink more water and hot tea too.

If you want more protein, swap the almond milk for soy milk. Almond milk doesn’t have any protein.

I need to get a portable blendjet. I think it would be handy!

@Redporchlady I like it not the strongest but I got the original not the upgrade because the old style was only $15, not $50. I made a margarita of sorts last night.

Good to know - I use a shaker bottle at work for protein powder but doesn't work well if I want to add say 1/2 a banana or blueberries or even some yogurt.

I've read soy is estrogenic and is grown with pesticides. I was advised to only have it if it was organic and fermented and even then to keep it at a minimum. I've heard extra estrogen can contribute to breast cancer. You may want to research it.
