The doctor called me back last night and said to stop taking BOTH of the Glycopyrrolate pills until the constipation is resolved. She suggested taking MiraLAX (as did many of you). I guess I will go get some of that this morning, although I'm not excited about taking something that I have to drink. Yukk. I will also buy a small bag of prunes. I don't know that I've ever had a prune before, so I don't know if I will like them. YIKES! A serving is 5 prunes, which is 100 calories! That's off-putting! But, if I have to do it, I guess I'll find a way.

OK, I'm late starting my walking. It takes me about 2-1/2 hours to get in the 2.5 miles, with taking 15-30-minute breaks between each half-mile segment.

The birthday party was a hit last night. My 7-year-old grandson had a great time and liked all of the gifts we got him (a bow that shoots Nerf missiles, a scooter that has LED lights flashing all on it, and a dart board with magnetic darts). Everyone liked the pizza and bread sticks, and was excited that I found and ordered a Ukrop's pound cake (all our favorite). The shark decorations I made were a big hit.

I ended up eating 1-1/2 pieces of a large Pork/Onion Hand-Tossed pizza, 3 Ruffles potato chips with dip, NO breadsticks, one 1/12 slice of an 8" cake, and 1/4 cup of vanilla ice cream = 520 calories. Unfortunately, the rest of the day, before the party, I wanted to eat all day; and my calories for the day 3ended up being 1,881. Still, if I stick with what I have planned for the rest of the week, I should be able to keep my average daily calories below 1,500. I'm at 1,420 right now.

Ooops! I said I was going to start walking, didn't I?
