Debbie Cousins's Journal, 02 Feb 23

Today, I'm at 49 pounds lost. My profile says I've already made 50, but they are basing it on an April date, and I officially started my diet at 258.6. One more pound and I can claim 50 pounds lost.

Things are going along nicely. Decided not to stress about the BM's. If they don't happen by day 5, I will use a suppository. I'm not going to give up the Glycopyrrolate! I enjoy NOT sweating too much!

Knee complained a little today about doing the steps three times yesterday, but it wasn't bad enough to have to use the Voltaren. Been about a month of it feeling good, PTL!

Making a Rum Cake today for my son's birthday on Saturday (it gets better every day it sits). Thankfully, he doesn't like nuts, so I didn't put any pecans on the top. Without the pecans, it is no temptation for me. Good thing, because 1/16th of the bundt pan cake is over 400 calories!

Still on target to set another record low Average Daily Calories this week. My daughter didn't make the creme brulee afterall, so I'm going for a significant reduction in calories. Next week, I will have a high calorie week. Planning Chicken Casserole (almost 500 per serving) and Lasagna (over 600 calories), as well as creme brulee for 3-4 days! Will still be under 1,800 calories for the week, though. I find that when I keep my body guessing, I lose better. Too many weeks in a row of low-calorie, and I stall.

Tomorrow I'm making Chicken 'n Dumplins for my son's birthday. My husband and I will have a bowl on Friday night. I'm not taking it to him until Saturday, so I don't have to try to transport it hot.

OK, the timer just went off to transfer the finished cake onto the serving plate!

Dang. I can’t use glycopyrrolate because it promotes my brachioradial pruritus (itchy arms prob. due to working in the outside for many years). I am so sick of sweating even while barely moving. I have to wear bandannas as headbands whenever I think I’ll be sweating. It’s caused by my fat—had hyperhidrosis even when 125 pounds in my 30s. And some physical trainers and others have the brains God gave an undershirt, and have never learned that your body will not cool off if the sweat does not evaporate, such as in high humidity environments.

Finally! Someone who can relate @Bottom Line Up Front. So sorry that the glycopyrrolate doesn't work for you! It's been a Godsend for me! Also, I live in Virginia - very high humidity.
