Debbie Cousins's Journal, 11 Mar 23

Still vacillating between 205 and 206 pounds. HEY, I'm in Maintenance! Staying about the same place for a month or so! Not really, I'm just treading water, I think. Not moving forward but not losing any ground, either. The good news is that I'm still logging all my food every day, am up from ZERO exercise to walking 3 miles a day, I record my Journal entry more days than not, I almost always get in my Fiber goal and drink at least 8 cups of water. Still drinking Diet Coke. Still eating sweets.

My grandson appears to have Encopresis! Last night I had to give him half of a suppository because he could not pass his stool. What finally came out was the biggest bowel movement I have ever seen in my life! We had to put on gloves and fish it out of the toilet because we would never have been able to plunge out the clog it would have made. He's been having a lot of trouble with getting poop in his pants lately. He's seven and has been potty trained since he was three. He can't help it. The article I read about Encopresis sounds exactly like his symptoms. Poor little guy! I'm really going to advocate for my daughter taking him to the doctor. In the meantime, I wish she would just give him the Fiber Gummies I got him a couple of months ago, and give him a stool softener each day! If he lived here, I would make sure he was getting those things every day.

This morning at 7am, a guy is supposed to pick up an iPhone 7-Plus I'm selling on Facebook Marketplace. Last week, I sold our 21' above-ground pool, the trampoline, an iPhone 6, $40 worth of pool chemicals and the pool solar cover. Trying to save up enough money to pay for membership at the community pool this summer. It's $500 for the season. My grandson loves it though - there's even a diving board that he started jumping off of last year! Praying my daughter will be more on board with the pool experience this year. Usually, she is more interested in just staying on her phone.

OK, 3:04am and have lots to do before my 7am appointment. I've already done two days of Bible reading, had breakfast, and created the next two Daily Accountability challenges. Right now, I'm not really checking on people's posts. Just a very busy time with a lot of distractions. I DO pray for y'all, though, that you would have the motivation and determination to accomplish your goals. Thanks for following me! I so appreciate your words of encouragement. Ok, time for lap #1.
