Weight down this morning, surprisingly. With the 24-hour care I've been giving my 7-year-old grandson, some other things have had to take back burner. Been ALL Diet Coke for the past 2-3 days. Better than eating way over my calorie limit. My calories are high for this past week - average of 1,880 per day. Indulging in a whole KitKat bar yesterday. Still getting in my walking, PTL. Things were so chaotic yesterday that I forgot to eat dinner until time for bed, so I just had a slice of buttered Dave's Killer Good Seed Bread, toasted, instead of having my usual high-fiber Butter Beans, so I missed out on reaching that daily goal.

I guess the reason I lost weight was because I've been VERY active in taking care of my little guy. Sunday, he went through 17 diapers with induced diarrhea. Now I know why they call it "the runs," because we had to run back and forth between the living room and bathroom so much! Finally, after I took him home at 11am yesterday (after having him for 26 hours), he started passing some solids in his soiling! That's a GOOD thing, as the goal of all this torture is to clear out the mountain of rock solid stool that was in him. My daughter said that an elephant couldn't have passed so much in a day.

The poor little guy is SO deflated! He has NO energy, and we can't get him to eat hardly anything. He doesn't even want to play any. He isn't even asking a million questions! The whole time I drove him home yesterday (20 minutes), he didn't say a word. If you're the praying type, please remember little Jack (age 7), as he deals with this severe constipation and encopresis.

My daughter wants me to watch him again today. I've got to get a shower and wash my hair! I've been giving all my attention to his needs, and haven't done anything to take care of myself. I'm amazed that I've even been able to get my 3-miles of daily walking in, but I have, somehow.

Haven't checked ANY of ya'll's posts, and don't have the time to do it. So sorry. Even finding the time to make this brief post was hard.
