As long as you have stuck to your calorie limit and undertaken some moderate exersize then you should be losing weight slowly. One thing to remember, you could very well have up to a kilo a poo in your system. Yes, I was surprised by this and there are times when it could be well over a kilogram. Weigh yourself after before and after a good bowel movement and you will see a difference. Never weight at night due to bloating and water retention. First thing when you get up weigh in and only once a week otherwise the ups and downs will cause psychological discontent.

Blonde is right - we always have fluctuations due to fluid shifts etc - weekly weigh ins are more accurate of progress, and less stressful!

Janet, I hear you! I can fluctuate in weight up to 3 kg overnight! Sometimes I just retain fluid. I don't let it stress me now. Just stick to your plan - don't let the scales rule you too much. You're doing great

I read this yesterday morning after I weighed in. So last night out of interest, after a day of work, exercise and dinner, I weighed in again...over a kilo heavier! It really is amazing how much your body can fluctuate throughout the day. I'm glad I saw this post or I'd be gutted if I accidentally fell on the scales at night :-) Good info ladies!

Thank you all for your comments and support. Any psychological discontent is channeled into knitting and crochet, lol.
