Been going a bit overboard with the eating. Need to get back on track, but it won't start today. Having a simple Easter dinner today, but it is a lot of calories: Country ham biscuits, pagan ham rolls, Chick-fil-A chicken nuggets, potato chips and ranch dip, macaroni & cheese, corn pudding, pasta salad. All needed to be things that could be eaten without last-minute cooking, since we will be eating right after church services. All the desserts are ultra high-calories: Rum Cake, Caramel Cake and Pecan Pie. I'll try to give away as many leftovers as my husband will let me part with; but whatever stays in the house, I will eat (I know myself!) Planning to have 1/4 cup of each of the sides, only one each of the ham items, and 4 chicken nuggets. 1/2 piece of each of the desserts. Still, lunch will be over 600 calories, and desserts will be over 700. The day's total will be over 2,200 calories (conservative estimate).

I hope many of you will venture out to Resurrection Sunday services at your church or one near you. Jesus is Alive!

Thank you, Shirley! Happy Easter to you, too. Everyone just left from lunch. Good service at church this morning and moderate portions of many different things for lunch. Finishing the day at around 2,500 calories. My favorite thing was the 1/2 slice of Pecan Pie (1/16th of 9” pie - over 250 calories). Hope you have a great day!
