Be sure to read to the end of this post for a product review! First, the mundane stats. Yesterday was fair day. Only drank 5 Diet Cokes, but I only drank 2 bottles of water. Only walked 4 miles and only did 1/3 of my PT exercises. Fiber was 21.5 but Protein was only 70.31. Calories were only 1,239, which is almost a record low for me! My grandson only had a half day and got home about 11:30am, so that took up a lot of time I usually spend on accomplishing my goals. Knee pain has only been a #4 to #5 for the past week. Much better than it WAS. I'm contemplating eliminating the Advil for a day and see if the pain increases, so I'll know if it is really necessary to keep taking every 8 hours or not. Maybe tomorrow.

I've been trying all different kinds of Quest Bars, and I have two new favorites: Birthday Cake and Peppermint Bark! They are delicious and taste just like the real thing. They each have 180 calories and 12g Fiber. The Peppermint Bark has 21g Protein and the Birthday Cake has 20g. You can get a box of 12 assorted ones (10 flavors) for $24.72 on Amazon. The flavors that are included are Birthday Cake, Double Chocolate Chunk, Chocolate Brownie, White Chocolate Raspberry, Chocolate Sprinkled Donut, Cookies & Cream, S'mores, Chocolate Peanut Butter, Lemon Cake and Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough. When I got them, it was a little different, but that's what is in it now. None of the flavors were "bad" - all rated at least a 5 out of 10 for me. I've also tried the Oatmeal Chocolate Chip and the Mint Chocolate Chip. Each flavor can be ordered separately in a box of 12 for between $21 and $25. At the grocery store, a 4-pack (all one flavor) runs about $8.99.

I tried the Birthday Cake one and liked it okay. I like Atkin Endulge for snacks but not every day.
