Well I'm stoked. Lost 1 kilo exactly this week. 100 g off losing 28 kg in total, no exercise, full fat diet. Body fat is now 27.03%. BMI only 30.3 so only a smidgen over the magic 30 to be out of the obese range. Next goal 70 kg. I can smell it now. Still over a month away, but slow and steady means I'll keep it off. It's a lifestyle change not a diet. Waist is only 2cm over the magic 90 cm so hopefully within the healthy weight and size range soon. I would never have believed I could lose over 30cm around my waist but I have. That's a ruler length. So far down to a small size 12 from size 18 to 20. Maybe I'll be a size 10 when I reach my goal. I'll discuss where to from here once I reach this goal. Don't want to jump ahead of myself. One step at a time. This journey started for me last September. Over 9 months ago. I still think that it's better to be a tortoise than the hare. Lots of promises of quick fixes out there but at what price. Loose skin, chemicals poisoning your body, replacing meals with liquids. I firmly believe sugar is the enemy. All I've done is eliminate processed food wherever possible. No processed meat. Full fat. I eat all food groups but am cautious with carbs as I'm not exercising yet due to an injury. Makes sense. My proteins high, fibre between 25 to 30g per day is the aim. I now understand portion control and enjoy balancing my diet using the Fatsecret app. I now understand that a healthy life is all about balance.
74.8 kg Lost so far: 20.9 kg.    Still to go: 4.8 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.
