You know, the only time I've ever eaten tofu is in egg drop soup. I should try cooking it somehow. Mmmmm.... That looks delicious!

You guys are brave, I'd never eat that. I'm sorta weak and pathetic that way (I have the shamed-dog look on my face right now). I did have a big bowl of cooked broccoli at lunch tho. Hopefully, I am redeemed........

There was a time that I hated tofu. I kept forcing myself to eat it but never knew how to actually use it. I worked in a chinese restaurant when I was 18 and the owners always shared their "real" chinese food with us. Peggy (the owners American name she used) made fried scrambled tofu one morning before we opened, and she put it on a napkin and said to try it. I will always try anything once, have been that way even as a little kid. I started my love affair with tofu that morning. I prefer tofu over meat in oriental dishes. And scrambled tofu over eggs any day.

I grew up eating tofu in the 80’s and 90’s with my hippy mom. It really is all about how it’s prepared and the seasoning/sauces. My favorite way to eat it is the home style tofu at Chinese restaurants🤤. I fry it in a pan at home most of the time though. Pam spray with soy sauce with stir fry veggies. Yum! You can also use the silken tofu to make pudding if anyone is feeling adventurous😉

Fried tofu in Thai dishes - YUM! Like pad thai or pad pak. I also use it in recipes that call for a lot of cheese, like spanikopita or lasagna. It is milder and less greasy than using all feta/cottage cheese.
